It feels good to be back! As you might have noticed it has been half a year since my last post. When I started my blog a couple of years ago, my one and only goal was to use it to as a creative outlet. The last months it felt like a obligation, so where's the fun in that? I decided to give myself some time off just to see if I would still enjoy doing this so here I am again.

Autumn's here and I've already found a new obsession: turtlenecks. From shirts, dresses to utility jumpsuits: I love to wear them as an extra layer to give that outfit a cup of chic. So this time I decided to combine a fake leather croco pattern jacket, a checked skirt and the perfect beige boots into a feminine look with a retro feel.

It's kind of funny how this sunny weather reminded me that I've neglected my corduroy puffer coat. Looks like time is running out for these warm winter essentials, so I decided to do a post about this jacket! Most of the days I tend to grab a classy coat to complete my look, but sometimes I'm in a sporty mood and then I want something completely different. This rusty corduroy puffer actually always does the trick. I love the fact that he's cropped, and you can easily match it with soft tones.

Since I'm always into an all white look, I just picked a comfy, white mom jeans and a simple white knit. By pairing my pistachio (by the way my favorite color for spring) Puma sneakers, the look gets a fun eye-catcher.

Have a nice day!

I know December has only just started, but I'm one hundred percent sure that this outfit is my favorite of 2018. Before you start thinking that I walk around with my bare legs in this kind of temperature: don't worry, these photos were taken a while ago. Ok, back to the story! Well, beige and nude tones are without a doubt my favorite colours. Unfortunately it used to be hard to find the perfect type of fabrics and pieces in the right colour. Until now that is... This wool skirt from COS felt like a gift from heaven, while this creamy knit from And other Stories looks like I would have designed it myself. Of course I've completed this café au lait look with chunky kicks.

Hope you guys like it!

Guess what, I've lost control over my check pattern obsession. It's weird how the print I was crazy about as an emo teenager (long bangs, band shirts & slip on Vans included) is filling my closet at the moment. Luckily there's absolutely no way that I'm going back to that style, you can thank me later. In my opinion you can easily get a Britney Spears kind of vibe with a check pattern, but these wide, cropped pants look sophisticated. Just add a basic top & coat and you're ready to go.

I don't know what it is these days, but I'm into feminine sort of outfits. While you normally barely see me without sneakers, I can't help but wearing these new nude boots I've found at And Other Stories. They have the perfect colour to match every outfit and the cilinder heel just adds an original touch. Since I already told you that I'm loving the corduroy trend, I went all the way with this cognac suit and embraced the seventies vibe. It kind of feels like I'm a That 70s Show character, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing!

What do you think?

Do you remember yourself wearing corduroy dungarees as a kid? I surely do (but not in a good way)! Since everything from the 90s is making its comeback, corduroy couldn't stay behind this season. Besides peachy mom jeans and a dark pink dungaree dress, my wardrobe was still kind of a corduroy virgin.
