What I love most about thrift shops, is that you'll never know what to expect. Yesterday I went to our local Kringwinkel (a second-hand store with furniture, clothing and literally everything you can think about) and while I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I spotted this gorgeous dress. Not only had it the right color, the cut was also very interesting. I immediately thought: if I would ever design a maxi dress, it would probably look exactly like this. But since I'm only 1m60 and there wasn't a size marked in the dress, I already told to myself not to be too enthusiastic. I mean what are the odds that the dress would fit... And it did!! So here it is you guys, my favorite dress from now on. P.S.: I only payed 9 euros for this piece.
When it comes to dressing in dark Autumn colours, I'm kind of in denial. I'm still in a bright color mood so I prefer to walk around in My Little Pony tones, euh I mean pasteltones. So today I looked for a good Sunday outfit (read: something that's not too thight and comfortable enough too be a couch potato). And what's better than joggers and a soft jumper? (Your mind is probably screaming "PJ's!" but this was a rhetorical question you guys.) I combined this new fluffy sweater I got at Primark with last years coat from Noisy May.
This Autumn is all about metallics so I decided to add some sparkle to my sneaker collection. No white sneakers (What a surprise, right?!) but pink ones with a matt but pearly finish. I already have a white pair of Reebok Classics but I felt the need to have another pair (Yes, I might be addicted). When I saw the Instagram video of Take-Offstarring these shiny babies, I immediately planned a shopping spree. Oh well and know I can't stop combining them with all my grey and pink outfits.
So what do you think, are you a sucker for metallics?
Have you ever had that moment when you try something on, you hear a choir of angels sing "AAAAHHHHHH". Ok, I might be overeacting, but this is exactly what happened when I put on this coat. During my search for the perfect outfit for Zalando Bread and Butter, I looked for a nice dress for a change (you might have noticed that I barely wear dresses), killer heels and a gorgeous coat. And I found it all. So here's the result you guys, let me know what you think about this color combo.
"When in doubt, wear denim." Well I couldn't agree more! On grey days like these I honestly can stare for hours at my closet and I still don't know what to wear. The solution? Denim! I'm so happy that I've finally found a longer denim jacket at Zara hat matches every outfit. I just added some high waist leather short, an oversized striped top and my No Name velcro sneakers I got at Take-Off. Oh well and of course I couldn't resist the choker hype... I guess you can't get the nineties out of a nineties girl.
