There isn't a moment that I'm not looking for a certain piece. Sounds familiar? Something that has been on my wish list for weeks, are grey pinstriped trousers. It's just an item that looks great with every pastel color and it's fun to wear with sneakers. The problem is that yours truly isn't the tallest girl in town, a-hum I'm 1m60, and trousers often don't have the right fit. But thank God for Bershka for solving these small girl problems.
I'm happy that I can finally wear last years Topshop coat (I'm still in love with it) and I added -what else- white kicks. I guess you've probably seen these Reeboks fromTake-Off in this post.
There's just something about wearing a suit that makes you feel like a boss. For a second I just thought I really had my shit together, but oh well, great outfits can lead to greater things :'). While I already got a navy pinstriped suit and a nude one, this tux has a totally different feel. It's more formal and classy, so I added this Levi's shirt to give it a more casual look. And yep, what a surprise, I added some white sneakers.
What do you think about this outfit? Something you would wear too?
Dear reader, let me introduce you to a new member of my Reebok family: the Reebok Club C 85. You're probably not surprised at all that I've added another pair of white kicks to collection. But let's be honest: white sneakers just really look great with everything you wear. So when I saw these babies at the Take-Off Sneakerstore, their transparent gum soles made me want them even more. It's subtle but still different.
Enough about the kicks, what about the outfit? Well, I just quickly picked something out of my wardrobe (believe me, this happens rarely). I've had this denim shirt for a while but I hadn't thought about matching it with navy joggers. I don't know about you, but I actually quite like this minimal but edgy look.
Have you ever had a day that nothing you've planned really does work out? Well, my Sunday was the perfect example! I was ready for a fun day outside wearing my new kicks for the first time, when I realised there was nothing but rain. Result: cars drove by and gave me a pretty refreshing shower (just like in the movies), my feet got wet and I almost flew away like the one and only Mary Poppins. I know, I know... "First world problems" but hey, I just wanted you to know why you won't see outdoors pictures today.
My best friend was kind enough to take me in and shoot some photos in her apartment. Et voila! No rain, I could finally wear my new OldSkool Vans and they still look fresh and clean. Oh and even better: I ended my week with some sushi. Life could be worse, right?
The issue of being a doubter who's shopping alone, is that
you can impossibly make a choice on your own. Jep, I'm talking about
myself. I caught myself standing at Zara a couple of weeks ago with a pair of
grey culottes and the same pair in pink. "Grey is more neutral, but on the
other hand: I don't have any bold pink trousers.". The result: I bought both of
them, so you might recognize these trousers from thispost. But hey, I handled
it pretty good, don't you think?
